Job Description

We are recruiting for a Project Worker for a homeless service to support young parents in the Salford area. This would be a full time role (36.5 hours) for a minimum of 3 months.

You will be working our client that provides supported living accommodation to people and young people that allows them to develop, learn and thrive. They provide them with not only somewhere to live but a home.

You will be supporting young people at the service to provide them with guidance and support with housing issues. You will be supporting with housing management and arrears/voids management. You will be working 36.25 hours a week and the shifts will be working Monday - Friday. At this service the shifts are 9am - 5pm, 10am - 6pm and 2pm - 10pm. You will need to be available to work all shifts.

Ideally you will have working in a housing service before supporting young people that have complex housing needs. You will need to be able to understand the housing process and understand how you can best support the young people to ensure they can main their tenancy.

You will need to have at least 6 months experience working in the housing sector and ideally have a DBS on the update service (Or willing to apply for one). We would need to reference you for the past 2 years so it is important you are able to provide us with your full work history.

You will be paid £10.50 per hour.
