Brook Street Social Care are currently recruiting for Project Worker in the East Lancashire area - 37 hours per week with a salary of £18,325 - £18,576 depending on qualifications.

Our client is looking for committed and reliable Support worker to join a friendly and safe environment for adults with mental health needs, challenging behaviour and learning disabilities. The work is very rewarding with no two days being the same. You will be part of a supportive team sharing the workload, looking after each other and celebrating success together.

Do you have the ability to work under pressure whilst staying calm? Can you treat everyone as an individual no matter the situation or life history? And are willing to take part in fun activities for example bike riding, walking, music, films, playing football, gardening, or going on and fun days out? If so, we want to hear from you!

You would be empowering the service users by promoting independence and offering emotional support.

The ideal candidate should have a NVQ/QCF Level 2 Health & Social Care, but relevant experience will be considered if no qualification is held. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and additional needs OR experience in mental health or youth work is desirable but not essential.
