The role of the project worker is to carry out regular security checks on the building, ensuring the residents are safe, reporting incidents and offering general support to help them into independent living. You must maintain the confidentiality of the service and be able to work independently as it is lone working.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, pro active and trustworthy. If you have experience working within a homeless project it would be ideal but not essential. You are lone working and will be working a mixture of days but mostly nights, working from 21:45pm- 08:15am.

You must have a minimum of 1 years paid work experience in the social care sector and worked with both children and young people and adults. However if you have a social care qualification, 6 months paid work experience would be sufficient. This is essential in order to clear you through our compliance process.
