A new opportunity has arisen to work as a project worker for a well established organisation supporting 20 service users within a homeless project.

BS Social Care is one of the UK's leading recruitment specialist, specialising in sourcing and placing skilled workers into roles within the social care sector.

The role of the project worker is to provide support on the 24 hour supported accommodation programme. The role has up to 20 service users there which can stay there for 2 years. The aim of the service is to prevent and support the homelessness issues in the area. The role is a mixture of project worker and support worker, you will be working closely on a 1-1 basis with clients, supporting with plans and risk assessments. You will be supporting with housing benefits, liaising with outside agencies is a regular occurrence at the service. You will be working day shifts only but need to flexible to work early and evenings. This role is a temporary opportunity on a block booking basis.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable and trustworthy. If you have experience working within a similar setting then we would love to hear from you!

You will have a minimum of 1 years paid work experience within the social care sector or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification.
