Project Worker - Gloucester (Temporary Role)
£14.50 per hour
Are you motivated to make a meaningful impact in your community? I am looking for people to support a respected charity supporting adults at risk of homelessness, and I'm looking for a Project Workers to join their inclusive team in Gloucester.
You'll help deliver practical, person‑centred support, empowering people to move forward and engage positively with their community.
What you'll be doing
Building positive, professional relationships with service users and partner agencies
Keeping accurate records in line with organisational standards
Promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
Participating in team meetings, training, and ongoing development
Responding to individual needs with empathy and practical guidance
Contributing ideas to improve services and encourage innovation
What you'll bring
Experience supporting people facing mental health challenges, homelessness, or drug and alcohol addiction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational abilities and confidence managing varied priorities
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others
IT literacy for record‑keeping and communication
Flexibility for evening or weekend work
DBS on the Update Service is a strong advantage
