Brook Street Social Care are currently looking for experienced Children Support Workers to work at a Semi-independent service in Chichester supporting 16-18-year olds. The needs of the young people vary, from mental health, anti-social behaviours and .
Our client provides care to children and young people with emotional, behavioural and mental health conditions. The services provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young people who have experienced different types of trauma.
We are looking for candidates who have a true passion for nurturing young people. We want to speak with you if you have experience working with vulnerable children. You will be expected to work in line with organisations` policies and procedures.
Providing support and care to children with emotional and behavioural challenges, you will be able to manage challenging and at times, aggressive behaviour. You will be able to engage with challenging young people, and show determination and commitment to those young people, with the aim to support them achieve their desired outcomes.
- Minimum of 6months experience working with children and young people
- Minimum of 5 years referencing history
- NVQ in childcare/Children and Young people workforce
- DBS on the update service
The hours are flexible you can pick and choose the days and times you work each week!
