My client works with young people facing homelessness in London, providing safe homes, advice and support to enable the young people in their care to achieve their fullest potential providing them with opportunities to the best chance in life.
They are currently seeking a property manager to work on a fixed term contract until March 2020 based in Croydon to lead the housing management team to proactively manage properties, ensuring property maintenance is carried out to an agreed standard, meeting all health and safety requirements.
The essential skills and experience required are:
-Experience of managing people
-Working knowledge of relevant legislation including, Housing Law and Health & Safety
-Extensive experience of delivering Housing Management services, including liaising with contractors and procurement processes
-Experience of managing a diverse workload and working with minimal supervision
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Qualified or working towards a professional qualification in property management
-Working knowledge of safeguarding and experience of working with vulnerable groups of people
-Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evening work.
The successful candidate would be required to travel across the client`s properties in South London.
In return the Successful candidate would be rewarded with the following:
£31,000 Pro Rota- (negotiable).
