Job Description

We are looking for a Property Portfolio Manager for our client who is one of the UK`s leading property and legal services company. You will be responsible for the proactive, careful and effective management of your own rental property portfolio. This will involve adhering to client Service Level agreements (SLA`s) whilst ensuring regulatory compliance across the portfolio and delivering a high-level service to your client and tenants. The role will also include liaising with and appointing lettings agents to market properties; communicating with applicants and tenants.


Normal weekly hours are from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Based in the office at St Ives.

Salary is £16k - £20k depending on experience.


The job role will include:


" Establishing tenancy information in tenancy takeover
" Managing and collecting rent on the portfolio
" Ensuring all tenanted properties meet safety requirements
" Organising maintenance works and estimates
" Instructing and reviewing property reports and making recommendations to landlords or clients.
" Using Propco for daily workload requirements, to record all activity as above
" Providing a seamless service to both clients and tenants
" Ensuring client SLAs are consistently adhered to
" Reporting on exception cases
" Liaising with various involved parties, including receivers, lenders, solicitors and borrowers
" Managing the preparation and marketing of vacant properties
" Production of tenancy agreements and supporting documentation
" Issuing and processing tenant notices
" Dealing with move outs and deposit returns

Skills needed for the role:


" Experience of working in a portfolio management role
" IT literate (Microsoft office, emails, confident learning new systems)
" Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
" Experience of property management/ lettings
" Self- motivated & proactive
" Confident with problem solving
" Property portfolio management
" Time management - under pressure
