Property Support Assistant

Salary: £DOE
Full time: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Circa £17,500 - £19,000 per annum

Brook Street are currently recruiting for Property Support Assistant on behalf of our Client an established and respected Solicitors firm based in Reading. You will be part of the Property team which is recognised as one of the leading teams in the region with major emphasis on new homes and land development, affordable housing, business property and property investment work representing a wide range of clients from multinationals to small local businesses and private owners. Our Client is one of the UK`s most successful full service regional law firms. Based in Reading in the heart of the Thames Valley, who regularly work with many of the world`s largest multinationals as well as successful UK and European businesses. The Client also have a specialist teams of lawyers, regularly ranked as amongst the best in the UK that provide services for individuals. This role will be working in the busy residential property team and will provide the team with administrative support. The Property team is recognised as one of the leading teams in the region with major emphasis on new homes and land development, affordable housing, business property and property investment work representing a wide range of clients from multinationals to small local businesses and private owners. This role will be working in the busy residential property team and will provide the team with administrative support. Full time hours are 9.00M - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

" Assist in maintaining business relationships with clients To assist/provide holiday cover during absences of other team members and to work in excess of normal hours where it proves necessary, in the interests of the Firm or those of our clients
" To provide accurate documentation, reports and correspondence following standard office practices and precedents, to timescales as required
" To reply to incoming and to prepare own correspondence for signature by Line Manager To make telephone calls as required to move matters forward and take calls as necessary and act upon them


Administrative duties including but not limited to:
o Filing
o File closures
o "Topping and Tailing" outsourced typing
o Document enclosures for outsourced typing
o Conveyancing searches
o Diary management
o Marketing event co-ordination
o Marketing literature production
o Completing forms (inc. Land Registry and SDLT)
o Sorting post
o Fee notes
o Scanning/Faxing
o Collating documents
o Generating bills and preparing other Accounts forms
o Accounts monitoring
o Initial point of telephone contact for client
