It is an exciting time at Forward with the recent addition of providing mental health IAPT services in prisons across Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk.

*Provide assessment and low intensity interventions which may include guided self-help, CBT and group work (CBT based) Group Psycho-educational workshops and computerised CBT.
*Undertake patient-centred interviews which identify areas where the individual wishes to see change and or recovery and make an accurate assessment of risk to self and others.
*Assess and support prisoners with a common mental health problem in the self- management of their recovery.
*Ensure quality standards are maintained in the delivery of the service.


*Experience of undertaking CBT assessments and delivering CBT and low intensity interventions
*Working with people with mental health difficulties and people in primary care.
*A thorough understanding of Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and the concept of stepped care
