Job Description

BS Social Care are working in partnership with a leading psychosocial intervention provider in looking to recruit a gambling practitioner in Sunderland.
The practitioner will be working with service users for whom gambling has become problematic. The successful candidate will deliver evidence based psychosocial interventions to service users who are seeking treatment to reduce or stop gambling completely.
You will have experience in the health and social care field and hold a relevant level 3 in the form of a diploma or degree. Evidence of learning models of change and delivering psychosocial interventions is a needed to be considered for this role. Alongside one-to-one work, in this role you will be delivering group work and mutual aid sessions.
Benefits within this role include 24 days leave which jumps to 30 after a year in service, a company pension plan, occupational sick pay and an optional healthcare package.
