Job purpose and role overview

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: London - East Indian Docks E14
Salary: £12,000 (£11.50-£12.00 p/h plus London travel allowance)
Hours - 24 hours per week Wednesday - Friday 9am-5pm
The day job

We are currently looking for an experienced facilities co-ordinator to join our team in London E14. Your role will be to assist the facilities manager within a housing association with the below.

Key responsibilities:
o Carrying out general maintenance tasks as reported on the Helpdesk
o Assisting in carrying out Fire Safety procedures when needed
o Assisting the Facilities Manager in conducting site inspections and assessments to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are maintained at all times.
o Checking the boiler room
o Carrying out regular water temperature checks
o Facilitating regular maintenance checks of fire equipment (doors, extinguishers and detectors) by external contractors.
o Facilitating repairs to major equipment (lifts, boilers and appliances) by external contractors
o Performing PAT Testing annually
