We are currently working with a non for profit global Christian organisation who is looking for a PR and Media Specialist

This position is to build and sustain a strong network of contacts in secular and Christian media and to instigate media opportunities for the organisation to expand diverse media channels in the UK

Within this position you will need to:
" Creative implementer who understands PR engagement, how to respond to competing media demands and how to capitalise and respond to current affairs.
" Strategically using our content and making it accessible to a wide range of audiences i.e. youth, parents, senior business executives, government officials, churchmanship, academics
" Able to create new connections with key people in secular and Christian media
" Creative thinking about how to use our content to speak into secular media
" Quickly becoming a valued member of the UK Media Team, while supporting the regional and global media objectives.
" Works with the UK-based speaking team to facilitate, train and support the speakers to take up media opportunities
Skill and Experience
" Strong, effective written and spoken communication skills
" Excellent interpersonal skills and networking ability
" Understanding of story and narratives, connecting with a range of audiences
" Organisation and Planning

For this, the organisation offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000 as well as an extensive benefits package: flexible working hours, 25 day holiday plus the 8 bank holiday, Team events are currently held on a quarterly basis.
