Job Description

We are excited to be representing an excellent client who is a well-established, family run business in the motor dealership industry. This client has been running for over 100 years in the Preston and Blackburn area and is very well-respected representing prestige car brands in the Lancashire area. This is a full time role (37.5 hours a week) however my client is also open to part time hours of 30 hours per week.

Location: Preston PR5


Salary: £22,000pa (reviewed annually in January each year)


Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-17:00pm (Flexi-time available)

THE ROLE:
" Supplier payments by weekly BACS run and ad hoc faster payments
" Main point of contact for supplier queries
" Ensuring all invoices have a purchase order and liaising with head of departments to ensure this is achieved
" Reconciliation of ledger accounts to supplier payments and requesting missing invoices
" Assisting with weekly reports on Excel

THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE WILL NEED:
" Meticulous attention to detail
" Knowledgeable with Microsoft IT package; including Excel, Word & Outlook
" Capability to work under pressure during busy seasonal work periods
" Excellent organisation and communication skills
" Able to work within a team environment and work on own initiative when necessary
" Regular communication with customers, colleagues, and your manager
