Job Description
Are you experienced in Purchase Ledger? Do you want to be part of a successful and growing finance team? Are you looking to join a company that enhance career progression?
You will be working alongside another Purchase Ledger Clerk being involved within a very busy finance department of a successful Industrial company based on the outskirts of Grantham, Lincolnshire.
You will be responsible for any or all the following:
" Matching, checking and coding invoices
" Working out VAT payments
" Making payments via BACS and cheques
" Processing staff expenses
" Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
" Reconciliation of supplier statements
" Filing invoices
" Managing petty cash
" Data entry
" Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
" Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
" Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
You will ideally have an extensive amount of experience using Excel & Microsoft office packages, have experience working in purchase ledger and have experience using an accounting software called 'Advanced'. It is essential that you have a great working ethic, always remain positive, can work well under pressure and have a 'Can do' attitude.
