Purchase Ledger Controller
Salary £20,000 - £22,000pa DOE
My client has over 35 years' experience within their field and are manufacturing specialists who have an exciting opportunity for an experience Purchase Ledger Controller to join them on a permanent basis at one of the group sites based in Telford. My client has both a diverse product range and customer base and this really is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable well-established business.
Working a 37.5 hour working week Monday - Friday.
You will be joining a small fast paced team in a business that is centrally located in Telford.
This is a varied role to include opening new supplier accounts in line with organisational guidelines, matching supplier invoices to PO & delivery documentation in a timely manner and ensuring any discrepancies are resolved swiftly and efficiently. You will also be involved in reviewing, coding and processing expense claims. Within this varied role you will also assist the Head of Finance with issuing supplier payments, monthly supplier reconciliations and additional duties as required.
We need to demonstrate a minimum of two years' experience working within a PL or Accounts position.
Will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail with data entry.
Will need to be a confident and effective communicator to ensure that any invoice queries are investigated and resolved efficiently.
Be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Excel
Be willing & able to learn their IT system
Be a team player but also someone who can work autonomously and manage a busy work load.
