Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious new client in Lincoln for an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller due to their rapidly growing status.

As part of their growth plans they are looking to recruit someone who is looking for a long standing career with the chance to progress with the business.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the running of the accounts department and work alongside their administration, logistics and operations managers and directors. They must also be able to work under own supervision and work well within a small team.

Main Duties:
" Sales and purchase ledger management - the accurate and proficient entry of data for both purchase and sales invoices, reconciling invoices, raising concerns where necessary and liaising with the relevant stakeholders to resolve, processing payments and financial reporting.
" Tight credit control management - checking and issuing statements of account and liaising with customers/ suppliers/ subcontractors regarding account and payment issues.
" Data analysis - undertake analysis of the company`s financial information as requested to produce relevant findings and reports as required.
" Cash book administration - including credit card transaction entry and bank reconciliation.
" Entering financial information and maintaining strong historical records of all finances and correspondence and ensuring all associated filing is completed.
" Assisting with end of year analysis
" Quarterly VAT returns
" Weekly and monthly employee payroll including expenses accounts
" Monthly reports to directors

We are ideally looking for someone with 2 years minimum finance experience and who are ready to take the lead and hit the ground running.

This is a full time Monday to Friday position, 39hrs per week
Salary £20 -22k negotiable
