Brook Street is happy to be recruiting a temporary/part-time Purchasing Administrator for a local manufacturing client of ours.
Brook Street`s client is a small manufacturing company that supplies technical instruments to the military, aerospace and medical research fields. You will be integrated into small but bustling production team for a period of five weeks in order to cover long term holiday for one of our client`s valued permanent employees.
Your duties will include:
Generating purchase orders from repeat clients.
Inputting supplier acknowledgements to ensure that planning data is accurate.
Expediting later orders and chasing deliveries to support the supply and production team in maintaining smooth business with their clients.
Purchasing or accounts payable background.
Practical knowledge and experience in Sage 50.
Ability to work well with others as part of a small team.
Attention to detail, especially regarding financial transactions.
Working hours will be Monday-Friday 25 hours per week from the 23rd of March until the 29th of April.
Our client is very flexible with the hours so you would be able to fit your five hour working day any time within the 8:30-16:30 office hours.
Pay will be £10-£12 per hour depending on proficiency and suitability.
