If so we would love to hear from you. Due to rapid growth our client is looking for a Purchasing Assistant to work as an integral part of a team.
-Monitoring stock levels using the Company Stock Management System and Excel driven reports
-Raising and sending Purchase orders through the Stock management system
-Monitor and Expedite outstanding purchase orders from suppliers
-Track and Trace delivery of products to assist Customer service
-Assist customer Services and Stock control with returns
-Monitor the inputting of stock receipts by the company's 3PL
-Maintaining and updating the company's stock management system
-Build strong relationships and work effectively with suppliers to ensure best practice
-Request quotations from transport companies and assist with arranging logistics and transportation for all imports
-Assist with import shipping including Tariff codes/document handling
-Working with Purchasing manager, identify slow moving and or under performing stock
-Working with Marketing to Monitor Amazon and arrange products to go to the Amazon fulfilment centre
-Filing and general office duties when required
The successful candidate will be self motivated and driven to develop within the role but also with the company, obtain 4 GCSEs A-C, IT literate and have the ability to work well with a team.
