Purchasing Manager
Shrewsbury
Salary £30,000 - £33,000pa DOE + Bonus Potential

Fantastic job opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join my client who come with over 30 years' experience in their field and are based in Shrewsbury

You will be key to identifying and building effective supplier relationships ensuring they meet the companies expectation on cost and efficiency through your effective negotiating skills.

As a Purchasing Manager, your role will also involve:
Sourcing new products
Liaise with the Product Manager regarding the rationalisation of the product portfolio
Producing reports regarding supplier performance, cost savings etc
People management & training

My client is looking for an individual with a minimum of three years' experience of working within a similar purchasing role. You will need to be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of MS Office, and ideally have previous experience of SAP.
