Job title: Purchasing/Stock Manager
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm and 1 Saturday per month for Stock Take.
My client is a long established, family run food company that supply across UK and to overseas markets. Due to phenomenal success and continued growth they are currently recruiting for An experienced Purchasing/Stock Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and undertaking tasks related to item purchasing, external and inter company and stock management.

Purchasing/Stock Manager responsibilities:
" Stock purchasing, proactively managing re-ordering of stock items in economic order quantities
" Managing the delivery process and chasing overdue supplier orders
" Control the intercompany ordering process in its entirety
" Producing weekly reports for all stock, new item set up and managing SAP quantity and valuation for all locations
Purchasing/Stock Manager desired Skills and Experience:
" Previous experience of purchasing/production planning/stock control
" Previous experience working with production and operation departments
" Experience of SAP desired
" Ability to effectively manage relationships with suppliers, strong IT skills and attention to detail
" Food and Drink industry experience would be advantageous
" Certificate or Advanced Certificate leave from Institute of Purchasing & Supply is desirable
The Purchasing/Stock Manager position offers a competitive basic salary up to £35K, pending experience plus additional company benefits.
