Job Description

Opportunity for work for an extremely successful global technology provider service company as a QSHE advisor. The ideal candidate would have extensive health and safety experience.

Client Details

Our client is a global technology provider of digital communications, shipping and mail solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Assistant based in Chigwell.


Daily duties will include -
" Working alongside the QHSE Manager to ensure compliance, review and continual improvement of the BSI ISO Accreditations, 45001, 9001 and 14001
" Working with departmental Managers to develop awareness to QHSE issues, assisting the development of a culture of responsibility for action
" Assist the QHSE Manager with the management of fire safety throughout the buildings, reviewing record checks, fire equipment, signage and toolbox talks
" Assist with QHSE reporting, risks assessments, post incident investigations and auditing; communicating with the QHSE Manager and others until action items have been closed
" Ensure operations are conducted in a safe efficient manner and in conformance to legislative and company safety requirements
" To assist in the planning and development of the migration from OHSAS 18001 standard to ISO 45001:2018
" Ensuring all QHSE documentation is up to date and adhered to in daily operations by all on site employees
" Carrying out monthly inspections and H&S building tours in accordance with H&S process, procedures and formal checklists.
" Ensuring health and safety and evacuation procedures are communicated and adhered to at all times and in particular communicated to new staff/starters
" Standardise documentation on company SharePoint
" Maintain QHSE Diary of events including training/mandatory/legislative inspections requirements
" Provide general administrative support and other duties as assigned by the QHSE Manager
" Some travel within the UK when required
" Ensure Visitors and Contractors are following the Company Safety policies and guidelines and the effective completion of Contractor safety data


Essential requirements-
NEBOSH qualification
IOSH qualification
A good understanding of IS0 9001 + OHSAS 18001
Capable of implementing new QSHE processes
Clean driving licence


£30,000 -£40,000 per annum
