** Nursery Nurse **
** West Hunsbury, Northamptonshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 in Childcare is essential **
** Non-drivers will be considered **
** £17,076 with benefits (please see bottom of advert for benefits) **

BS Social Care is carrying out a recruitment drive for a nursery company who own two different settings - both within Northampton, Northamptonshire. Both nurseries are based within the centre on Northampton with bus routes available. Therefore, non-drivers will be considered. We are looking for candidates with recent nursery experience and ideally an NVQ 2 or 3 in Childcare. This role is a full time and permanent role paying between £17,076 with great benefits. The nurseries are open 7.45am to 6.00pm with staff working on average an 8-hour shift; therefore, you will work for example 7.45am - 4.45pm or 8am to 5pm etc with an hour lunch.

About the employer; the employer owns two nurseries and it managed by a family-run organisation. It registered in 2004 and is on the Early Years Register and the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare Register. The nursery operates from purpose-built buildings in the Northampton area, and children share access to an enclosed outdoor play area. The nursery is open each weekday from 7.45am to 6pm all year round, except Bank Holidays. Children attend for a variety of sessions. There are currently 142 children registered to the organisation as a whole aged from 3months - 5years. The nursery provides funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-olds. It employs 31 members of staff.

About the job; you will be responsible of the wellbeing of all children within the nursery you are working under. You will assist the team and the Nursery Manager with any duties needed to allow the children the best possible start in life. You will ensure that all planning, organising and monitoring for the children will be completed to the best possible standards. You will also work well with the team around you to make sure that you have not only a good working relationship and work environment, but you have an enjoyable role where you are able to exceed. Your own development will also be paramount to your role, if development is what you are looking for.

The ideal candidate will have recent nursery experience or children related experience. You will also have an NVQ 2 or 3 in Childcare. However, the most important thing about the ideal candidate is the work attitude you have and the work ethics you have. We are looking for hard working and good candidates.

A salary of approx £17,076 will be offered depending on experience and qualifications. You will also be offered the following benefits;

- Competitive salaries
- Opportunities for promotion and training in First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Team Leading
- Excellent holidays and nursery closure at Christmas
- Friendly, team orientated setting with many loyal, long term staff
- Peer support and mentoring
- Free parking outside nurseries
- Uniform (sweaters and tops) provided
