Job Description

40 hours per week
£31,000.00 per annum (£15-16ph)

Overall purpose of job:

To replace damaged panels on a vehicle, returning to its original profile.
To advise unqualified staff on all aspects of panel beating, will also involve mentoring un-qualified panel technicians.

Main responsibilities:

Liaise with unqualified staff before, during and conclusion of repair process and sign off work.
Ensure the damaged vehicle is repaired professionally to the customer`s satisfaction using the correct equipment and in line with manufacturers specification.
To ensure the work is completed on time
To complete the work without the need for rectification
Always looking to improve processes and working methods, subject to the managers approval
Always use and wear protective clothing and equipment
All health and safety procedures including COSHH to be adhered to at all times
To comply with company repair and safety methods.
To check process, final inspection and safety checks as per work sheets and sign off final checks
