We are currently recruiting for our client based in Leeds to do Ad-hoc shifts covering long term sickness, holidays and busy periods. The 55 placed nursery is open 7 days a week, excluding bank holidays.
You will take responsibility caring for Nursery and Pre-School Children, staying in the nursery both term time and during the summer holidays. The role will include general supervision, feeding, nap times, activities, nappy changing and educating them through play. You will also be expected to write reports on the children welfare and daily activities.
The ideal candidate will have either BTEC, NNEB, NVQ2, NVQ3 or NVQ4 in Child Care and a minimum of 1 years experience working with Children. Experience is essential, whereas qualifications are desired.
You will need to have a DBS on the update service, or alternatively be willing to pay £50 for an enhanced DBS through Brook Street in order to qualify for the role. You must also be able to provide 5 years worth of references and proof of eligibility to work in the UK - eg passport, driving license and national insurance number.
The pay rate will vary dependant on the position offered - Unqualified/Qualified.
