Quality Assistant

A large global supplier is looking to add to their team and this is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on.

The successful candidate will join a busy and vibrant team as a Quality Assistant and will work between two of their Liverpool locations, due to this it would be good to drive/ have own vehicle. This is a very challenging role in a very fast paced and dynamic environment.

The Quality Assistant will work as part of a team responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a quality system, quality policies and standards in compliance with all internal systems and external regulations. If this sounds like you , do not hesitate to apply.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
" Receiving and sorting samples & sending out samples to external laboratories
" Daily and weekly analysis of the samples/products
" Analysing data and producing reports
" Creating product and sales orders
" Assist quality manager with usage of the quality system, quality audits & accreditation
" Opportunity to learn more about ISO 9001, FEMAS, HACCP principles in a trading environment


PERSON SPECIFICATION

" Educational level: minimum 'A' level or equivalent qualification
" Excellent interpersonal skills
" Can work well in a team and on your own
" Good numeracy and analytical skills
" Must be very organised and able to work within tight deadlines
" Pro-active and able to set priorities and follow through
" Proficient in Excel
" High level of integrity, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and self-reflection are key attributes to perform this role.
