Job Description

Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Standlake**
Permanent role hourly rate is £9.75 per hour

Think you can manage thousands of eggs? Making sure they come in carefully from all over the country? This will be your challenge as a good`s in Operative in one our cutting-edge packing centres. We`re looking for organised, hard-working people who have a license and confidence to use EPT (Electric Pallet Truck)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow the company Health & Safety guidelines as outlined above
  • Work with QA Manager and other team members to ensure that planned duties, checks and tests are conducted on time and to the correct standard
  • Play an active part of the wider team, interacting with production managers, line leaders and operatives with the aim of ensuring all product meets the standards expected by customers
  • Collect samples for any external analysis required, e.g. microbiological testing, ensuring all schedules are adhered to
  • Investigate non conformances and complaints as required, delivering a root cause analysis of the problem
  • Monitor and report non-conformances where deviation from customer standards and he company quality management system has occurred
  • Ensure that relevant quality documentation and databases are updated and maintained
  • Ensure that environmental standards adhered to through robust and challenging audits
  • Conduct periodic audits in line with planned assessments, to include but not limited to glass audits, GMP audits, traceability and mass balances
  • Assist with the training of new Quality Assurance Technicians to ensure that a consistent approach to quality analysis and technical adherence is achieved across all shifts
  • Challenge the audit style and outcomes to assist in continuous improvement of systems
  • Assist in the preparation of the site for customer, external and third party audits and work with the production team to ensure the site is audit ready at all times
