QUALITY INSPECTOR VACANCY WITH A GLOBAL BRAND

Brook Street (UK) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of Quality Inspector for our Manufacturing client based in Campsie, Derry.

The successful candidate will have a passion for quality, a desire for continuous improvement, and be enthusiastic about the manufacturing industry. You will enjoy working with both Quality and Manufacturing teams, you`ll be a problem-solver, and you`ll enjoy being part of a team of like-minded Quality enthusiasts.

The successful candidate will assist with the continuous improvement in Manufacturing towards World Class standards and quality performance. The successful candidate will be charged with further-improving an already-impressive quality performance, reducing quality issues, improving the efficiency of the process of investigating quality issues, and creating and implementing corrective actions.

Candidates must have academic qualifications in Maths & English, have at least 2 years` previous manufacturing experience in a similar role and have a knowledge of production, quality and hygiene systems.

The rate of pay for this role will be £11.34 per hour. You will be required to work on a 24/7 shift pattern; working 2 weeks of day shifts, followed by 2 weeks of nights on a 12 hour shift rotational basis. The role is initially on a temporary basis with the possibility of this leading to a permanent position based on individual performance.
