Brook Street are proud to be working with a Newcastle based client who are seeking quality inspector to work in their establishment.
This position would be ideally suited to someone who has experience and is able to work in cold temperatures.

Duties include but are not limited to:

o Ensure all quality requirements are met.

o Communication of issues to customers and raising non conformities

o Monitoring of CCPs and completion of relevant paperwork. (To be authorised by Quality Manager)

o Ensuring all labelling complies with legislative requirements and matched instruction on job card.

o Ensuring all allergen labelling it accurate and appropriate.

o Routine sample checks (Finished Goods and Raw Materials QC checks, High Care and Low Risk)

o E-mail raw material QC check results to the production planning manager and head of technical.

o Save all QC results electronically as well as filing originals.

o Sending samples of product away for micro analysis.

o Environmental swabbing.

o Line handover from hygiene shift.

o Taking photographs of product as required.

o Regular communication with production and technical staff, e.g. informing relevant staff (line ops, machine ops, production manager, production planning manager, technical manager/director) of glaze levels, count issues, bag weights, foreign materials, product quality, overprint/label issues or concerns

o Ensure tidiness of QC testing area.


Hours Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm
Rate of pay National Minium Wage
Temporary to Perm for the right candidate
