Quality Inspector (Production Support)

Our local Sutton client requires a Quality Inspector with experience in Production Support. You must have detailed experience and an excellent understanding of quality processes.

Job description and requirements

The purpose of the role is to assist the staff in the Production Support Department.

Key responsibilities

* Inspect samples from suppliers and give approval
* Liaise and inform purchasing and stores when items are rejected
* Monitor rejects from the shop floor and from customer returns
* Control of products in the quarantine area
* Goods Inwards Inspection

QA Experience is highly desirable. Must have Manufacturing experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi task


Minimum 5 GCSE
MS Office applications
ISO9001 desirable
Basic metrology knowledge
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Start Date ASAP £9-10 per hour dependent on experience.
