Job Description

The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team of mechanical quality inspectors performing inspection of both components from the supply chain, and assemblies from the production line making Aircrew Respirators and Respiratory Protective Equipment.

Daily tasks include receipt of goods from the supply chain, inspection of sub-contract manufactured items against engineering drawings and other product specifications using a combination of hand-held measurement equipment, CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine), Vision system, and bespoke test equipment.

Also, in-process inspection of production-line parts and final inspection of finished product.

Hours of work -

Mon-Thu 07:30-17:00 (with 45-minute unpaid lunch-break)

Fri 07:30-12:30
