Job title: Quality Technician
Hours: 3 Shift Rotation
Location: Telford
Salary: Competitive

My client is a leading automotive manufacturer based in Telford.

Quality Technician responsibilities:

"Responsible for leading production with quality advice and ensuring standards required by customers are implemented
"Ensure best practice guidelines are driven and assessed continuously
"The development of quality-based standardised work instructions
"Assist with training input and roll-out across the business where required
"To manage the calibration log and ensure routine audits are carried out
"To operate all quality laboratory and measuring equipment, such as; Microscope, X-ray, Spectrometer, Blister oven.
"Promotion and implementation of Health and Safety on site at all times

Quality Technician, skills and Experience required:

"You must be computer literate; have the ability to demonstrate clear understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
"Must hold a Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent
"You should have experience in the automotive sector or field related.
"You must be flexible and able to work in different locations; both at the plant and field -based (Customer areas)
"Casting experience would be an advantage
"Experience using hand held measuring equipment would also be an advantage
