Job Description

***We are looking for a Rapid Testing Team Leader to work with one of our public sector clients***

Based in Leicester LE1

Temporary role for 3 months initially

40 hours per week between the hours of 08.00am - 17.00pm

Pay rate £12.43 per hour


Her Majesty`s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and provides the supporting administration for the Judiciary across England and Wales. It delivers essential services to the public directly in court and tribunal buildings, remotely via business and service centres and digital services online.


The Covid-19 pandemic has imposed unprecedented challenges on the justice system. It required rapid changes to ensure essential work continued, and we will need continued creativity and flexibility throughout our recovery

As part of this recovery we are opening rapid Covid-19 testing centres at some of our sites which will help to:

" Help improve public confidence in the justice system,
" Reduce disruption to the court system
" Contribute to wider public health initiatives

Purpose

The role of a Rapid Testing Team Leader, will be to take responsibility for the overall on-site operations at the test site, including day-to-day workforce management and to co-ordinate, register and provide guidance to HMCTS user groups, which will be pivotal to the smooth running of our services

Key Accountabilities:

" Running day-to-day operations including on-site
workforce management, managing site health & safety and receiving and managing stock
o Responsible for quality assurance processes, including appropriate assessment for competence of site operators, clinical governance audits, monitoring of key results and KPIs applicable to the testing site
o Point of escalation for any issues on site, and escalation to local public health officials as appropriate
o Ensure adherence to SOPs and clinical guidance is maintained throughout operations
o Responsible for safety and security of the site

Other duties

The post holder is required to work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties reasonably requested by line management which are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post. Full training and PPE will be provided, consisting of:

" Disposable gloves
" Disposable plastic apron
" Fluid-resistant (Type 11R) surgical mask (FRSM)
" Eye protection (Googles or visor as per individual preference)

Experience / skills required:

o Experience of working in a clinical setting or laboratory is desirable
o Experience overseeing an operational workforce and day-to-day people management
o Experience in managing compliance against regulatory guidelines preferred
o Experience managing operations in a customer facing environment and dealing with members of the public e.g. in a leisure or hospitality settings
o Demonstrated ability to lead multi-faceted teams in a fast-changing environment
o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
o Problem solving skills with strong ability to make quick decisions
o Ability to keep calm under pressure
o Digitally competent


DBS clearance is advantageous, but we can support with obtaining if you do not currently have this.
