Following approval of the appointment of a small dedicated Facilities Management Team, we are looking for a full time Receptionist to join an existing team, ensuring the smooth running of a new purpose built Reception Office..
The post holder will report to the Facilities Team Leader and will work closely with Business Services and the FM team at Headquarters in the establishing of facilities and services at the site.
Rate based upon a salary of £17,460
Hours of work: The role is Monday to Friday (0900-1700) 37.5 hours each week (Full time)
You will be educated to NVQ level 2 in business administration or with current equivalent experience and be computer literate and experienced in the use of MS Office software.
You must demonstrate communications skills at all levels and in all forms and be proficient in Microsoft; Word, Excel and Outlook.
As this is a front facing role, you will be able to offer us previous experience of dealing with the public as well as good numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to receive record and relay information accurately and confidentially.
You will have a confident personality, and be by nature positive, calm and not phased by a busy environment and you must be of a very smart, professional appearance.
You will be able to organise your own workload and use your initiative to effectively switch between a range of activities so good organisational skills will be essential.
You will also need to be able to move freely around buildings, distributing resources, collating statistics and servicing business points.
