Brook Street UK Ltd is delighted to recruiting a Receptionist for our client based in South Belfast
Our client has advised us that the role will commence on 2nd September to the 24th December. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 1300 to 1700 hours.
Your specific duties will include:
Handle all telephone enquiries at main switchboard promptly, courteously and efficiently, and re-direct appropriately by establishing the nature of the call.
Welcome all visitors to the College, ensuring that all visitors sign in, and direct people as appropriate.
Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of college policies, procedures, systems and developments, as well as general information, in order to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required, including details of procedures for making complaints.
Contribute to the administrative work of the Corporate Support Team as directed by the Conference & Events Team Leader.
This role may be suited to applicants that have proven reception experience. The role will entail the successful applicant to contribute to the administrative work of the Conference and Events Team as directed by the Conference and Events Team Leader
Maintain the reception area to ensure an impressive and professional appearance, including updating publications and information signage, including and IT resources.
Receiving and recording incoming deliveries of equipment and post and liaising with the Appropriate members of staff for the delivery of the items around the building
Sending and receiving fax messages
Using and maintaining the computerised conference room booking system
Operating the postal franking machine and ensuring its security
Dispatching and receiving mail and distributing around the pigeon holes
Assisting in the preparation of large mail shots and preparation of materials for events
In return, you will be paid an hourly rate of £13.24 per hour on a weekly basis.
