As an Optical Receptionist, you'll make sure every customer gets a great experience when they come into our store. It means listening to what they want, explaining our offers and products, working to NHS guidelines (as well as the clients own high standards), giving good, clear advice and making a positive impression, thanks to your polite and professional approach.
Matching glasses with files for customers to collect (glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids)
Taking appointments face to face (call centre take all inbound calls)
Need to know what is going on in the store at all times - who is waiting, who needs to see who, etc).
Send relevant paperwork to the lab or filing depending on what needs to be done
