Job Description

Are you an experienced Receptionist looking for an immediate start position in the York area? If so please read on.....

Key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
o Responsible for managing a busy switchboard
o Welcoming visitors to the company
o Distribution of incoming post and processing of outgoing post
o Accept deliveries and arrange collections with couriers
o Booking and preparation of meeting rooms and providing refreshments as necessary
o Invoice management
o Office orders & deliveries
o Facilities administration (assisting the Office Manager)
o Other administration/reception duties

Skills Required:
o Experience in a similar reception role.
o Previous experience operating a telephone switchboard would be advantageous but not essential.
o Experience of using Microsoft applications especially Outlook, Word & Excel.
o Must be a well organised, self-motivated individual with good communication skills and excellent telephone manner.
o You will be confident and have the ability to prioritise your workload and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being a team player.

Working 35 hours a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
There is the potential for the role to go permanent for the right candidate.
