Job Description

Are you an experienced receptionist wanting to further develop your skills and take on a new challenge in a well-established legal firm?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Receptionist to assist in the day to day management of reception alongside the current, established Reception Manager, providing excellent customer service.

The role is a permanent position based close to Manchester City Centre, in modern offices.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who already holds reception experience to further develop your skills, If you already have Legal experience this would be beneficial, however maybe you work in hospitality and you are looking for that opportunity to step into a different sector.

About The Role: Training new starters to agreed timescales, assisting them with their induction and remaining a source of support. Responsible for team-wide training where new software or processes are implemented. Conduct mentor duties by holding regular meetings and documenting progress. Undertaking day-to-day reception duties with the ability to co-ordinate tasks and people to meet existing SLA's. Arranging/booking team meetings/preparing team agendas/draft minutes of the meetings. Administrative duties: office environment report, monitoring switchboard trends and other ad hoc admin.
Deputising when the Reception manager is absent. Maintaining a high volume of work in a fast placed environment.

Essential Skills & Experience providing excellent customer service Strong IT skills & experience with proclaim (beneficial)
Excellent telephone manor, working well in a team and demonstrated leadership qualities.
Good attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers / clients
GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent
Flexible to work in other office when required/ needed

Salary is £21,000 working Monday to Friday (between 8am and 5pm - flexible 8-4. 9-5)) with progression
ASAP start, close to public transport links, friendly and positive atmosphere, plush offices, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays plus birthday day off there is a bonus structure in place as well as a cycle to work scheme.
