Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, to join a friendly, forward thinking Chartered Accountants Practice based in Fulwood, Preston.

The post is a 12 month temporary office based contract to cover Maternity Leave.

Hours are full time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday )9am to 5.15pm.

£9.23 per hour


Duties include:

" Answer incoming telephone calls in line with procedure
" `meet and greet` clients/visitors to the Practice
" Deal with client and office correspondence in line with procedures
" Prepare document to upload to cloud based system
" Maintain office archive system
" Undertake typing (including confidential typing) to a high standard
" Log and frank outgoing mail
" Provide clerical support for all members of staff when required
" Carry out further tasks as may be delegated to you


Person Specification:

" PC Literate: with strong, IT skills used to using Microsoft Office
" Proficient in using web-based applications
" Highly efficient, conscientious and methodical individual with a strong eye for detail
" Positive, forward-thinking, team player who can work independently without significant supervision
" Able to demonstrate initiative and decisiveness
" Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
" Smart, presentable appearance
