Recoveries Administrator

Job Description

My public sector client based in Sutton Coldfield is looking for a team administrator to support their regional third party recoveries team. This is a temporary assignment Monday to Friday paying £10.35 p/hr.

Your role will mainly be to deal with recovering monies from third party consumers, confirming rates charged against Billing Team Price Data, calculating bills, recover monies owed using recovery Software as required and arrange refunds if applicable. You will also be required to raise appropriate paperwork and maintain up to date spreadsheets to track recoveries raised. There will also be a need to deal with enquiries from new third party invoices too.

Part of the role will to deal with historic recoveries to investigate any prior billing issues, analyse and resolve invoicing issues checking processes and accuracy and liaise with the Utilities Data Management Cell to ensure reporting data is held and recorded.

This role will also require you to deal with general enquiries and complaints and manage enquiries by telephone and email as they arise.

You must have experience of working in a busy office environment and the ability to work at a fast pace and have an energetic and flexible approach to your work. Of course strong interpersonal skills would be an advantage as the post will require interaction with a wide range of stakeholders.

This role will require strong IT skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as the ability to utilise other Microsoft Office software.
