I am recruiting for Recovery Controllers for a client based in Birmingham. This an opportunity to join a local firm who specialise in the recovery of vehicles after accident or breakdown. They are offering a basic salary of £19,000.
This is a customer focused role and will involve liaising with the emergency services and other motoring organisations. Working within our customer service office, you will be the first point of contact for officers reporting vehicles that have been involved in an accident or have broken down in a dangerous position and will liaise with the recovery team in the collection of the vehicle. You will strive to always capture all the relevant information including the precise location of the vehicle.
TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Working in the recovery team, the role will require candidates to; -
Handling telephone calls from customers including Motoring Organisations (i.e. AA, Green Flag) and broken-down motorists.
Dispatching an appropriate roadside technician or recovery driver to an incident.
Overseeing the daily operation of the business and ensuring all customers are attended to within good time
4 shifts of 9.00am - 9.00pm on a four-on/four off rota.
