An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Nurse working within a in-patient detox supporting people with substance misuse.

You will be working for an established and reputable organisation that provides person centred, recovery focused Drug and Alcohol treatments.

Your duties will include assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with substance misuse issues and in particular those who require a detoxification, proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition (as appropriate), ensure the smooth running of the Medically Assisted Withdrawal Programme and refer and support appropriate psycho-social interventions as appropriate e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy, in support of the client group.

We are looking for a passionate, professional, non judgemental and empathetic individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload.

The successful candidate will be a UK Registered Nurse, experience working in a similar environment within substance misuse and hold a full UK Driving License.

This is a full time position with a excellent salary of £21,692 - £27,096 plus exciting training opportunities and professional development.
