Mental Health Recovery Worker at a service in Cambridge CB1 2LJ

The aims of the service is to provide structured and outcome focused housing related support for young people aged 16 to 25 years old, who have indications of mental health difficulties. The Service sets goals with young people so that they can develop confidence and internal resources; which will support them to move on from temporary services to permanent accommodation at the earliest opportunity. The service work's closely with young people's social care or community mental health teams to ensure young people receive appropriate professional support where needed; while promoting social inclusion. You will help support them through this transitional period to regain independence -with emotional support and guidance on living skills.

Temporary contract for minimum of 6 weeks.
Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm 37.5 hours per week


Experienced within mental health support services.
Emphatic and resilient individual who can help guide and assist an individual regain their independence.

Required:
1 years experience within the last 2 years in health and social care roles.
5 years of references required
Experience in mental health service
DBS on update service preferable (candidate can apply for one via agency)
Salary from £9.50- £10 p/h
