This amazing opportunity is working at a drop in centre for service users in a mental health crisis. The service is open 18:00-23:00 for people who require help and support.

If you have a kind, caring natured personality this service is for you. The service can sometimes be quiet or could be fairly busy. If there are any major issues you are required to call 999, otherwise you are to offer a listening ear to prevent further destructive action.

The ideal candidate would drive close to service, or would drive with easy access to a vehicle. We also would benefit to a candidate who is registered with the update service, but this is not a requirement. You must have weekly availability and flexibility with regards to ad-hoc shifts as on occasion shifts come through at last minute.You must be able to reference the last two years and attend an initial registration that will be held at our Bradford office. The service is based in York so you must be comfortable with visiting this area.

You will receive a generous salary of £10.50 per hour with additional holiday pay to accrue.
This job is a temporary/ bank staff position with additional hours to pick up at other services around the Yorkshire area. It is also a requirement to have 6 months experience within this sector and a qualification. Otherwise, we ask you to have 1 years experience.
