Salary and benefits
For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of £19,305, and a very desirable employee package.

Hours and Location
37.5 hours, full-time. Covering a range of shift patterns which include, but are not limited to;
Early shift - 7:00 - 15:00
Late shift: 14:00 - 21:30
Night shift: 21:15 - 7:15am
Sleep in shift: 14:00 - 23:00 (sleep on site till the following morning) and the shift commences at 7:30am - 14:30 in the afternoon.
Other shifts: 4:30pm to 11:30pm & 4:30pm to 2:00am

Company, Service, Key Responsibilities, and Overview of the role
We are in partnership and collaborating with a fantastic client who are a registered mental health and support charity, who provide community well-being resources where people can access support during a mental health crisis. Its aim? To prevent escalation of mental health problems and help people develop the skills they need to cope with a future crisis.

Day-to-day, you'll support individuals in crisis in a range of ways, including low mood, depressed, anxious, manic, self-harming, and experiencing suicidal thoughts. Your challenge will be to help them develop their own coping strategies to deal with their specific crisis situations. We'll also rely on you to liaise with clinical teams to discuss referrals and clinical presentation of people using services and make referral decisions based on this. Leading on risk management and safety planning for each client will be important too, as will identifying the triggers of their crisis and implementing a brief, structured support, and safety planning programme. And, when it comes to Introducing therapeutic tools and interventions tailored to their needs or helping them develop domestic management and finance management skills, again, we'll count on you.

Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge
" Have an understanding of mental health issues
" Have at least 6 months working within a social care setting (ideally mental health focused)
" Have flexibility to participate in a varied rota and shift patterns which will include sleep ins/waking nights and 24/7 support
" Have excellent communication skills and have a flexible, creative, and empathetic approach
