Job Description

Recruitment Administrator

This is a temporary role 8-12 weeks to support the business with their recruitment.

Hybrid working ( 1 day in office per week)

Location: Preston

Hours: 30hrs

Pay: £10.65 ph

Job Purpose

  • The Recruitment Administrator will provide administrative support to both the HR Advisor and HR & Payroll Assistant, playing a key role in providing an efficient and effective recruitment service.
  • The post holder will carry out pre-screening calls, arrange first and second stage interviews, maintain contact with selected candidates and participate in any recruitment activity as required by the team.

Main Activities

  • Provide quality customer service, interacting with suppliers, other teams and candidates and escalating queries where appropriate
  • Update and maintain the Recruitment Tracker
  • Write and post compelling job adverts
  • Screen and arrange interviews with Hiring Managers
  • Assist with successful candidate offers and onboarding paperwork

Person Specification

  • Previous administrative experience in HR/Recruitment is preferred with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to administer and deliver high volume of vacancies
  • Strong relationship and influencing skills
  • Excellent IT skills are essential (MS Office)
