Job Description

I am recruiting for a Temp to Perm Recruitment Assistant to join a reputable company in Oldbury.

Location: Oldbury (Hybrid Working - 3days in the office, 2 day's from home)
Pay: £11.02 - £13.33 an hour
Hours: 37.5 Hours a week, Monday - Friday

THE ROLE

Organising and facilitating the graduate and school leaver recruitment process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Writing and placing of job adverts.
  • Reviewing existing recruitment literature.
  • Reviewing existing advertisement channels.
  • CV sifting.
  • Processing of candidates on recruitment system including testing stages.
  • Coordinating assessment centres and interview days including booking rooms, ordering catering, arranging stationery/assessment paperwork and processing expenses.
  • Liaising with key participants to manage attendance at assessment centres and interview days.
  • Invigilating assessments.
  • Liaising with HR team on offers to initiate the starter process.
  • Providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Attending recruitment events including at schools and universities to promote the firm.
  • Creating a database of careers advisors and teachers to promote roles through.
  • Liaising with third party advertisers on recruitment campaigns.
  • Assistance in arrangement of work experience/placements/internships.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Previous experience in graduate/school leaver recruitment preferred.
  • Highly organised.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Approachable.
  • Robust and confident personality.
  • IT literate.
  • Willing to travel between the regional offices and especially to the London office for the running of assessment centres and interview days.
  • Experience in a Professional Services environment. (Desirable)
  • Experience of conducting interviews. (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn recruitment tools. (Desirable)
