Job Description

Do you have experience within recruitment, advertising and completing pre-employment checks? If so our client, an Educational facility based in Bradford is looking for 2 Recruitment Co-ordinators to join their busy HR function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. To co-ordinate the process for staff recruitment overseeing the day-to-day operations providing supervisor responsibility to the Resourcing Administrator(s)

2. To receive, action and monitor recruitment requests within agreed service level response times

3. Uploading vacancies to multiple platforms ensuring advertisements appear in the requested media in a timely manner

4. Correspondence with applicants, hiring managers and HR colleagues effectively throughout the recruitment process ensuring their experience is a positive one.

5. Complete the mandatory pre-employment checks, including;

a) Right to work and identify checks
b) Compliance with immigration legislation
c) Review and process requests for DBS checks, ensuring the appropriate level of check is carried out and keeping appropriate information in line with the guidance
d) Request and review employment references ensuring they correlate with candidates' applications
e) Occupational health checks

6. Provide first line advice to staff on HR policies, procedures and guidelines, escalating to the appropriate level as required.

7. Organise and co-ordinate interviews as directed by the Resourcing Manager, as well as attendance to provide support as required

8. Communicate effectively with appointed candidates and managers on start dates and onboarding practicalities

9. Produce conditional offer letters and contracts of employment. Issue new starter packs ensuring the packs are up to date and include standard information and act as a central point of contact for the individual prior to commencement in employment in relation to contract queries.

10. To act as first point of contact with external recruitment agencies, supporting hiring managers with sourcing applications whilst remaining compliant with procurement frameworks

11. Maintain accurate records in line with HR processes ensuring appropriate information management and compliance with the Data Protection Act

12. Extract data and compile accurate and timely reports as required

13. Implement processes for continuous improvement to ensure Recruitment runs effectively and efficiently
14. To manage own workload on a daily basis with limited supervision in a flexible, organised and professional manner including call-handling, enquiry handling, email management and dealing with face-to-face visitors

15. To support annual events such as open days and applicant experience days as required

16. Engage actively in own personal development, to remain up to date with current and proposed legislation and regulatory requirements and good practice.
