Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a Recruitment Manager to manage a recruitment team and ensure that the standards for the team are at a high level, ensuring a value for money service, operating within employment legislation, Trust policies, procedures and best HR practice leading the team to provide high levels of customer service at all times.
The Recruitment Manager will lead on developing, improving and speeding up recruitment systems, processes and support the delivery of a service improvement project to improve the customer service approach to recruitment internally within the Trust and the candidate experience. They will develop and ensure that recruitment and selection service level agreements are adhered to. They will lead on the development and be responsible for the continuous improvement and maintenance of recruitment key performance indicators.

" Degree or equivalent level qualification or
" CIPD level 7 or
" equivalent relevant level of recruitment and management experience within a HR related role

Skills and Knowledge Required
" Knowledge of process and systems in the NHS (Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions)
" Ability to develop and apply HR policies and procedures.
" Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, changes in legislation and HR policies and procedures that relate to recruitment practices
" Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences including ability to present the data in a user friendly manner.
" Organisation and time management skills to manage and deliver a range of tasks and projects to deadline

Experience Required
" Experience of managing in a complex recruitment team such as an agency or large organisation
" Experience of managing recruitment projects
" Experience in recruitment policy development
" Proven track record in using social media for advertising job opportunities
" Experience of using HR electronic systems (such as NHS Jobs, ESR, Trac)
" Experience of producing work to a high standard and against tight deadlines.
" Ability to analyse and interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issues, and recommend and appropriate course of action to address the issues.
