Department

You will be reporting to Head of compliance. Business Assurance is an independent function which reports to the Audit Risk and Security Committee and provides objective assurance to the Business to improve the
organisation's operations. Business Assurance has three key clusters - Risk & Insurance, Compliance and Internal
Audit.

Your duties

you will be Developing a sufficient level of business process understanding to support a robust delivery of internal checks, provide assurance on Finance reporting (the activities).

Provide assurance on the activities performed by applying analytical skills and logic, not
just mechanical execution of spreadsheets.

you will work closely with the business to understand key risks associated with 'the activities' on
which compliance procedures are being performed.

Ensure all documented working processes and procedures supporting 'the activities'
remain up-to-date.

you will be able to work across and provide compliance assurance on the spectrum of 'the
activities'.
